Rural Scotland People, Prosperity and Partnership

The Public Conferences, Workshops and Comments

The Government regard the public consultations, from conferences, workshops and written submissions as an important exercise, building on a similar process which followed the publication of Rural Framework. It has been important not just to hear the ideas and wishes of individuals and organisations but also to enable these thoughts to be shared. This enables others to understand the concerns of specific interests and cooperate in taking advantage of opportunities. The process of exchange and discussion is vital to the improvement of life in rural Scotland.
