A Sustainable and Economic Future for Fishing

Our policies are based on the recognition that fishing in many parts of Scotland represents a traditional way of life, where the industry works in harmony with the environment. If this lifestyle is to survive into the next century, we must balance the catching of fish, which contributes to the economic viability of coastal towns, with the natural ability of fish stocks to regenerate.
